a) TSVALUEB - is an input of the processor and defines the global timestamp value.
I would like to know how in the system do we generate this count value and
what would be the recomended clock frequency for this 48 bit counter to work.

B) I would also like to see some trace reports where this value is reflected .

You can just add a 48-bit binary counter running at CPU clock.
To save power, you can use TRCENA from Cortex-M4 to enable it.

The global timestamp feature is fairly new to the Cortex-M3/M4 so some debuggers might not support this feature yet.
