i.MX32 ADS and ARM RealView profiler with TRACE 2 Rate Topic: -----

Hi,

I am trying to profile a test application (sorts example) on i.MX31 ADS board. Board has ETM ports. TRACE 2 is connected to primary ETM port on the board. RealView ICE is connected to JTAG port on the board. I am able to debug the application on the board without any problem but when i try to profile the application, the application runs successfully but no profile is displayed and i get an error saying "Unable to load analysis data from ..."
An image showing the error is attached.

Can any one tell me if there are any configuration that need to be done before i can uset ETM on this board like IOMUX setting or any thing. I have also tried to use a script file to set IOMUX lines but i still get the same error.

My understanding is that the RVDS Profiler only works with ARM's trace capture unit, the RVT2 (or some models).

I am using RealView Trace 2 for profiling. The error message that I mentioned appears when profiling using RVT2
